Born in 1992 in Deauville, France.
Currently resides and works between Nantes and Paris.

Charlotte has dedicated herself to painting since 2017. The central theme of her work is metamorphosis. The transformative relationship between the inner and outer worlds, when the boundaries between the two seem to dissolve. When a glimpse of reality intrudes the everyday canvas. When the world bursts forth like a grain of sand in a tightly closed oyster shell, causing its contours to implode.

Charlotte studied graphic arts, illustration and comics in Paris. She retained a love for craftsmanship, poetry and old tales. Then, she pursued a BA in Art at Paris Sorbonne University.  She attended several residencies across Europe before returning to France. It was during these travels that she started experimenting with photo paper. One of the turning points in her work, is the Métamorphoses series, started in 2017.  It contains the main elements of her pictorial exploration:  inks on photo paper, symbolism, the interior-exterior relationship, inside-outside, body-nature.
In 2022, she trained in teaching Yoga for children with Kat Eratostene, adding to her connection with the wisdom of the body and its innate creativity. And began to reconnect with handmade printmaking, attending the lithography workshops of Nancy Sulmont-A.

« Before the flowers, there were scars. Like a skeleton, or a spine rising up. Like a network of underground wounds opening towards the light. Blossoming. Blossoming is very violent. It can also be tender, and very joyful. »
